URGENT MESSAGE; THIS NEEDS TO STOP
Join me and Lillie Kane in the fight to inform everyone about health and nutrition.
This is a subject that’s near and dear to me as it emphasizes the importance of physical health and nutrition as they pertain to mental health. As a depression survivor, I can say with some certainty that what you put into your body can have a profound effect on your mental health and well being. In the following video from Lillie Kane she highlights something that took me the better part of 20 years to fully appreciate. They say that hind sight is 20/20. There’s a lot of truth to that. As I look back on my life prior to March of 2005 when I tried to end my life, I can see that many, if not most of the health issues I succumbed to were totally preventable with common sense lifestyle tweaks. Nowadays, I look around and see quite a lot of unhealthy people and desperately want to share with them what I’ve learned. Things like how ailing mitochondria can contribute to a myriad of health issues and how to restore them to a more vigorous state improving overall health. Things like how our diet and lifestyle, and certain medical treatment, can contribute to poor gut health which can (and often does) cause autoimmune disease, among many others. I’ve written several health articles over these past several years chronicling my own health journey and what I’ve learned. You can access them by going to my archive by clicking HERE and using the search term: “health” which will list those articles. From there, pick one and check it out. What you’ll see is references to fellow health seekers, their recommendations, and often a testament to my own experience from dabbling in their suggestions. One important lesson that I’ve learned is that nothing in the way of health improvement happens right away. It often takes weeks, months, or years to reverse or repair the damage that we’ve subjected our bodies to, so please be patient. Here’s Lillie Kane with an important and heartfelt message to those of us suffering from chronic health issues:
