A while ago, under my “A QUICK STUDY IN PUBLIC RELATIONS” <(linked) essay, I provided a list (in no particular order) of some of my favorite information sources. Note that NONE of those sources include any contemporary mainstream news sources. A long time ago (30+ years?), I had the utmost admiration for “60 Minutes” on CBS. No more. All of them have lost my trust and it’s going to take more than the rest of my life in order for them to gain my trust back. In the mean time, folks like Bret Weinstein (above video) have earned my trust the hard way. By risking everything to proclaim the truth. During COVID, Bret, and his wife Heather Heying, relentlessly sought quality information from reliable sources. Sources who, themselves, were attacked by the media, including Wikipedia, who falsely charged them with promoting “misinformation”. It’s taken years, but it seems as though the truth is finally beginning to rise to the top and see some daylight. My faith in humanity increased significantly as Michael Shermer actually “hears” Bret as he correctly points out how “the system” failed us. Praise God!
