In the above video, Sharyll Attkisson illustrates what those of us over 50 used to enjoy on the mainstream news, particularly shows like “60 Minutes” with Mike Wallace and Morley Safer, for example. She is among my top, most trusted sources of investigative news. Sharyll is no slouch when it comes to reporting. Here’s a snapshot from Wikipedia:
Sharyl Attkisson (born January 26, 1961) is an American journalist and television correspondent.[1][2] She hosts the Sinclair Broadcast Group TV show Full Measure with Sharyl Attkisson.[3]
Attkisson is a five-time Emmy Award winner, and a Radio Television Digital News Association (RTNDA) Edward R. Murrow Award recipient. She was formerly an investigative correspondent in the Washington bureau for CBS News and a substitute anchor for the CBS Evening News and then went to The Daily Signal, a news feed from think tank The Heritage Foundation.[4]
Attkisson resigned from CBS News in 2014, after 21 years with the network. She later wrote the book Stonewalled, in which she alleged that CBS News failed to give sufficient coverage of Barack Obama controversies, such as the 2012 Benghazi attack.[5] Attkisson has received criticism for publishing stories suggesting a possible link between vaccines and autism,[6][7][8] a claim that has been rejected by the scientific community.[9]
Those of us who closely followed the news during COVID couldn’t help noticing a certain disconnect on the part of the mainstream reporting, leaving out key elements provided by credible “alternative” sources. I’ve written (or copied) several articles showing what appears to be selective reporting by the MSM. This video (above) points out just one of the many import details corporate news entities chose to leave out of their broadcasts. Details that, if left to the discerning public to decide, would expose the curated narrative that we the people were subjected to.
